August 27th 1999

Footage of The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) putting Balls Mahoney through a Flaming Table opens the show, as Styles says this is unlike anything else and welcomes the fans to ECW on TNN.

Joey Styles is in the back, hyping up the show and then talking about showcasing the ECW TV Title, going through the history of champions, before highlighting Rob Van Dam. He shows the TV Title change, when RVD defeated Bam Bam Bigelow and talks about RVD being the longest reigning champion in wrestling.

Joey Styles hype up the action you will see in ECW and then hypes the ECW World Champion Taz, showing the greats that have fought for the ECW World Title, but never won it, including “Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Joey Styles highlights the greats that have come through ECW and not taken the ECW World Title. He throws it to the ring, where ECW World Champion Taz stands in the middle, as Rhino stands on the apron. Taz cuts a promo on taking out Rhino, “Beat me if you can…. Survive, if I let you!” Rhino and Taz go at it.

Winner and STILL ECW World Champion: Taz after driving Rhino through a table, slanted in the corner, with The Hardway Tazplex, before pulling Rhino out and locking in The Tazmission, forcing Rhino to Tap Out!

Highlight package for Sabu is shown.

2)    Big Sal E. Graziano vs “The Giant Killer” Spike Dudley
Winner: Spike ducks and dodges, before catching Sal with a boot and then using The Acid Drop to put the big man down and immediately pin!

September 3rd 1999

From The Madhouse of Extreme in Queens, New York


1)    ECW World Championship match: “The Human Suplex Machine” Taz© vs Yoshihiro Tajiri w/Steve Corino & Jack Victory
Winner and STILL ECW World Champion: Taz after ducking a Spinning Roundhouse Kick and throwing a Lariat, which Tajiri ducked and immediately came back with a Spinning Kick, which Taz also ducked, but this time he wrapped Tajiri up in The Tazmission, forcing Tajiri to quickly Tap Out!

Joey Styles is standing in the middle of a packed Mad House of Extreme, with the chants of ECW raining down on him. He welcomes the fans to ECW on TNN! Styles starts hyping the show, when Joel Gernter, with a NEW neck brace one, comes out and announces himself as the TNN color commentator. Gertner cuts a promo about saving the program from Joey, as the fans chant “fuck him up Joey, fuck him up.” Styles stops him to introduce their guest, Jerry Lynn! Lynn cuts a promo on ECW being on national and proving they belong with WWF and WCW, he says he wants to give the fans the best wrestling match going, calling out ECW World Television Champion Rob Van Dam! Out comes Bill Alfonso, who cuts a promo, saying Lynn proved himself at Hardcore Heaven, but he will not be getting another Title shot tonight, leading to Lynn attacking Alfonso and then RVD running out for a pull apart brawl!

2)    ECW World Tag Team Championship match: Balls Mahoney & Spike Dudley© vs The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) w/Sign Guy Dudley
Dudleyz last night in ECW!
 Winners and NEW ECW World Tag Team Champions: The Dudleyz after Balls set up and table and covered in in thumbtacks, before pulling Bubba in for a Powerbomb, only for D-Von to break it up with a chair shot to Balls’ back, giving Bubba the opportunity to switch positions and send Balls crashing through the tack covered table with a Powerbomb, dropping into the cover, only for Spike to break it up! The Dudleyz then put Spike down with 3D and Bubba covered for the 3!
Styles & Gertner put over how big it is that The Dudleyz won the ECW World Tag Titles on their way out to the WWF, saying they will lay the Titles at The McMahon Familys feet!
The Dudleyz come back to the ring, cutting a promo on their time in ECW and turning from boys to men and men to heroes. But in the WWE, they turn heroes in legends and legends into gods and if God was a Heel, he’d be The Dudley Boyz! Bubba then says they have one more thing left to do before they go to the WWE and he calls out Tommy Dreamer to defend the company he has broken his body for. Dreamer comes out, but is stopped by Paul E. Dangerously and Francine, which leads to Bubba antagonizing Dreamer with taunts about Francine, Beulah McGillicutty and ECW, which leads to Dreamer hitting the ring.

3)    ECW World Tag Team Championship match: The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & Devon)© vs “The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer & Raven w/Francine
Winners and NEW ECW World Tag Team Champions: Dreamer & Raven after The Dudleyz dismantled Dreamer and had him down in the ring, even pushing away Sign Guy, as he tried to intervene. They called for then end and sent Dreamer into the ropes for 3D, but as Devon pulled him up, Dreamer countered with a DDT, just as RAVEN MADE HIS RETURN TO ECW, sliding into the ring and planting Bubba with a DDT, before both Dreamer and Raven covered for the exciting 3 count!
The place was going absolutely bonkers, as Raven celebrated with both Titles and Dreamer recovered, turning around to see Raven push the Title into his chest and stand with pride of defending their company.

ECW on TNN Episode #3

September 10th 1999

From The Mad House of Extreme in Queens, New York


Footage from the end of last week’s episode is shown, with Joey Styles saying that ECW on TNN was the talk of the wrestling world.
Joey Styles & Joel Gertner are on commentary.

1)    “The Man Beast” Rhino vs “The Insane Luchadore” Super Crazy
Winner: Crazy after Rhino got his knees up to block a Moonsault and quickly follow up with a Pump Handle Powerslam and the cover, but Crazy was able to kick out at 2. Rhino pulled him back up and hooked for a Powerbomb, only for Crazy to counter with a Frankensteiner and hold on for the 3.
After the match, Corino and Rhino faked dissension, so Rhino could raise Crazy’s hand and then attack him.

Joey Styles & Joel Gertner hype Anarchy Rulz ppv next week! They show a flashback match between ECW World Title challenger Masato Tanaka and Mike Awesome.

2)    ECW World Television Championship match: “The Whole Fucking Show” Rob Van Dam© w/Bill Alfonso vs “The New Fucking Show” Jerry Lynn
Match was ruled a No Contest after The Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm) w/Dawn Marie, hit the ring and attacked both men, stopping an incredible match. Storm cuts a promo on RVD and Lynn thinking they were going to end the show, but no The Impact Players are ending the show and they stand tall.

Styles announces that RVD vs Lynn rematch for the ECW World TV Title is set for next week! Then he reveals that ECW World Tag Team Champion Raven will speak out for the first time since his return, next week!

January 3rd, 1995

Joey Styles opens the show, welcoming the fans and hyping The PItbulls vs The Bad Breed, losing team must split up forever, this upcoming Saturday. Mikey Whipwreck is on his way to the ring, Styles talks about Mikey making some money in 1994 and getting some new gear. Styles talks about showing highlights from Holiday Hell 1994 tonight.

1)      Mikey Whipwreck vs Don E. Allen
Winner: Mikey after getting a boot up to stop Don E. as he charged into the corner, Mikey lifted himself to the middle turnbuckle and hit a Diving Bulldog to get the 3.

Highlight package of Mikey Whipwreck’s 1994 is shown. Joey Styles gets down to ringside to interview Whipwreck, talking about getting voted 1994 PWI Rookie of the Year! Joey interviews Paul Lauria, Mikey’s first tag team partner, he congratulates Mikey and then attacks! Paul rolls Mikey into the ring and welcomes his manager, “The Sexiest Man Alive” Jason!
 Joey Styles talks about Jason being jealous of Mikey’s rise in such a short time, Jason shows up and talks about his plan to take out Mikey, with “The Giant” Paul Lauria. Jason says that Mikey doesn’t deserve the credit he gets, the recognition, without paying any dues. Styles says Lauria faces Mikey this Saturday, Joey puts his money on Mikey taking out Paul.

The Sandman and Woman are in the back, with Woman saying they are going to be taking out Cactus Jack.
 Joey Styles talks about returning to the ECW Arena this upcoming Saturday, with ECW World Champion “The Franchise” Shane Douglas defending his Title against an opponent, unnamed, but Joey holds a sealed envelope containing the challenger’s name. He says he will announce it before the end of the show.
 Joey introduces a video package, showing Chris Benoit breaking Sabu’s neck. Public Enemy taking out Paul E. Dangerously with a Somersault Senton through a Table, same for a broken neck Sabu. Taz vs Dean Malenko highlights lead to Joey hyping a 4 on 3 Handicap Tag match signed for this Saturday, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko & The Public Enemy vs Sabu, Taz & 911!
 Footage of last week’s Chris Benoit vs Hack Myers match, with Benoit breaking Hack’s neck and ending the match. Benoit continued the attack and then called out Sabu, who tried to get to the ring, but 911 & Paul E. held him back, until Taz broke free and he and Sabu entered the ring to brawl with Benoit & Dean Malenko! The Public Enemy join in for a wild brawl around the ECW Arena!

Promo from ECW Tag Team Champions The Public Enemy (Johnny Grunge & Rocco Rock). They hype the 4 on 3 Handicap Tag, making a rap about backing up off them.

 Great brawl match, leads to Dean Malenko & Chris Benoit getting involved and getting PE the victory. 4 on 2 beat down, until 911 hits the ring and Double Chokeslams PE and then Benoit & Malenko.
 Paul E. Dangerously promo on the upcoming 4 on 3 Handicap Tag match.

Joey Styles talks about ECW expanding their areas into New York. He talks about Shane Douglas signing the contract for a Title defense on Saturday night and Styles gives a hint about the mystery challenger being a wrestler not under contract in ECW.

Highlights of Stevie Richards current string of victories, including a victory over JT Smith. Richards’ 2 match streak came to an end when Tommy Dreamer defeated him. Styles says that Richards is bringing the REAL Johnny Polo to sort this out.

ECW Heavyweight Champion “The Franchise” Shane Douglas gets in the ring and cuts a promo on a challenger not being able to step up, naming Steve Austin and a newly injured Ron Simmons. Simmons gets in the ring won’t back down, despite having a sling on his right arm, a fractured shoulder, and attacks Douglas, bringing a Referee into the ring to start the match.

Simmons gets a lot of momentum early, despite only using one arm, but Douglas goes after the bad arm and eventually wins when Simmons misses a Shoulder Tackle in the corner, colliding with the turnbuckle and Shane uses a School Boy Roll Up for the win.

Joey Styles says he is allowed to name Shane Douglas’ challenger for Saturday Night, saying The Horsemen are coming for revenge when Douglas defends the ECW Heavyweight Title against…… TULLY BLANCHARD!

January 10th, 1995

Tully Blanchard promo, saying he’s not afraid of Shane Douglas.

Joey Styles is ringside at the ECW Arena, putting over the newly redesigned arena, getting a few more hundred fans for ECW! Styles brings out Stevie Richards. Joey questions Stevie on his promise to bring Johnny Polo to the ECW Arena, saying he has been here all day and hasn’t seen him. Richards hypes the day as the biggest in the history of ECW. Richards says he is a man of his word, saying he is not going to produce Johnny Polo, Johnny Flamingo or Scotty The Body. He welcomes the birth of Raven and out comes Raven! Promo on Richards not letting him down any more, “Quote The Raven.” He sends Richards into the ring and stays at ringside.

1)      Stevie Richards w/Raven vs Hack Myers
A Vignette on the ECW career of Myers is shown. With the recent Chris Benoit match, that included Hack injuring his neck. Myers refused to get his match vs Richards cancelled and went at it, noticeably injured.
 Winner: Richards after Hack drove Richards’ face into the mat, Stevie rolled to the floor, distracting the Referee and allowing Raven to interfere, hit Hack in the gut and then kick Myers across the face, with a Loaded Boot! Raven rolled out, as Stevie rolled back in and covered for the win.

Bunch of Joey Styles ECW hype, including ECW’s expansion into the New York City market. He shows footage of ECW Tag Champions Public Enemy getting into a Club Expo for the ECW debut party. followed by ECW Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas getting into the same club.

Joey talks about the Mikey Whipwreck and Paul Lauria situation, showing the footage from last week.

Joey Styles says the expansion of ECW continues and more and more eyes are on ECW that ever.

Joey Styles interviews Shane Douglas and his women at the NYC Debut party.

Promo from Ron Simmons, with his right arm still in a sling. He talks about respecting Shane Douglas, but Douglas being able to slip through the cracks. He hypes their Fort Lauderdale rematch, saying he is going to take it out on Douglas on the 14th. He turns his attention to Dean Malenko & Chris Benoit, saying after he wins the ECW Title, he and 2 Cold Scorpio are coming for them.

2 Cold Scorpio is in the ring, he cuts a promo on Dean Malenko & Chris Benoit, saying they hurt Ron Simmons last week and if they want some, to bring their asses to the ring. Benoit & Malenko make their way out, staring down Scorpio from the aisle, Scorpio hypes his match with Benoit in Florida and their tag match. Benoit & Malenko get in the ring, Scorpio continues to promo, Benoit pushes him, Scorpio fires back and takes both down, until Benoit dumps him with a Dragon Suplex. They continue the attack, double teaming Scorpio, until Commissioner Todd Gordon and Referees hit the ring to stop them. With Scorpio still down, The Sandman & Woman make their entrance.

2)      2 Cold Scorpio vs The Sandman w/Woman
Winner: Scorpio after Sandman chopped him in the corner and sent across for an Irish Whip, only Scorpio reversed and Sandman went to the corner. Scorpio charged and Sandman launched him to the apron, where Scorpio blasted him with an elbow to the head and then jumped to the top for a Moonsault Press and the victory.


As Scorpio celebrated, Sandman laid him out with a Singapore Cane shot and continuously beat him, as Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko came back to the ring. They all beat down Scorpio as the show went off the air and Sandman left the ring.

March 14th 1995


-Public Enemy are talking over a contract, saying they need to get it signed.

-Joey Styles, standing next to Paul E. Dangerously, opens the show and hypes the upcoming hour, as Paul E. mocks and mouths Joey's words. Styles talks about Paul E. being involved in the Taz/Dean Malenko rivalry and Heyman hypes the footage that will be shown on the night, with Dean taking out Taz. Paul says Dean and Benoit are coming after Taz, because they are afraid of Taz and Sabu and they will sign for a rematch!
 Public Enemy walk in, just as 911 steps up and blocks them, but they don't want any problems and just want their contract signed, which Paul E. does with a smile on his face. PE says "one team down, one team to go, for the Three Way Dance!"
 Public Enemy pull Joey Styles back and Styles puts over PE getting Paul E. to sign Taz & Sabu up for their Three Way match, just needing ECW Tag Team Champions Dean Malenko & Chris Benoit to sign, PE asks where to find Malenko, leading to Styles talking about Too Cold Scorpio also looking for Malenko and introduces highlights.

(From The ECW Arena) Too Cold Scorpio over Hector Guerrero following a 450 Splash, while Guerrero was face-down on the mat.

-ECW Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas, in a suit, talks about being in New York and hypes the ECW Hotline.

-Joey Styles says Public Enemy took off to find Malenko & Benoit, with a camera following them, before turning his attention to Ian & Axl Rotten's violent feud.
 Ian cuts a promo on he and Axl spilling blood in the ECW Arena, before telling a secret, saying Axl was a bastard child that their mother never wanted. "Blood, Sweat and Tears."

-Axl Rotten, with a Barbed Wire Baseball Bat, cuts a promo on Extreme wrestling and saying family business will be settled with something Extreme!
 Styles talks about PE still looking for the Tag Champions, before introducing footage.

(ECW Arena 2/25/95) Johnny Grunge pushes Rocco Rock out in a wheelchair, to Joey Styles at ringside and they cut a promo on being robbed in the Tables match against ECW Tag Champions Sabu & Taz, saying they will be coming back for the Titles. As they are preparing to leave, Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko come out and attack Grunge, before turning their attention to Rock. Malenko pushes him into a Clothesline from Benoit and immediately blood starts flowing through his white shirt. Malenko pulls Grunge to the ring, as Benoit pushes Rock, and the wheelchair, into the guardrail and then joins in with Malenko to beat down Grunge, until ECW Tag Champions Sabu & Taz run down and the bell rings!

1) 2/25/95 ECW Tag Team Championship match: Sabu & Taz© w/Paul E. Dangerously & 911 vs "The Crippler" Chris Benoit & "The Shooter" Dean Malenko
 Malenko & Benoit injured Taz's leg to the point that Paul E. had 911 pull him out of the ring and carry him to the back, leaving Sabu to fight 2 on 1 and for a while, he held his own with aerial attacks, but alas, Benoit & Malenko took over.
  Winners and NEW ECW Tag Team Champions: Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko after Sabu positioned Malenko close to the corner, where a Table was lying across the top turnbuckle, Sabu placed a chair on top of the Table and climbed up, only for Benoit to stop him and push Sabu and the chair off, causing Sabu to land on the the chair. Benoit pulled himself to the top of the Table, as Sabu climbed back up, only for Chris to snatch him and score with a Superbomb off the Table, quickly covering for the 3!

-After the match, Benoit cut a promo on deserving champions holding the Titles and laying out a challenge to the Public Enemy, which immediately brings them out, Rock's shirt still covered in blood by his ribs. Grunge takes over on both, as 911 carries Taz back to the ring. Benoit, Malenko and Public Enemy brawl around the ring, as Taz, Paul E. & 911 check on Sabu. 911 Gorilla Presses Taz overhead and throws him onto the pile of the floor, leading to Malenko and Taz brawling away, but Sabu climbed to the top and dove onto PE & Benoit! All 6 men brawled around the ring, as Paul E. argued with Referee John "Pee Wee" Moore, until 911 Chokeslammed him TWICE!!
 Public Enemy approach Jason in the locker room, asking him to sign the contract on behalf of Benoit & Malenko, which he mocks and laughs at them, until they attack and jam the contract in his mouth, but The Pitbulls run in and attack Public Enemy!

-Joey Styles says ECW officials separated Public Enemy and The Pitbulls and threw PE out of the ring, before throwing it to Jason and The Pitbulls, who cut a promo on PE starting something they shouldn't have. Jason says he will sign the contract to set up the Three Way Dance, if and only if, they can defeat The Pitbulls at the ECW Arena, this Saturday night. Pitbull #1 cuts a promo on running PE out of their own house, becoming the new bad asses in ECW and after they defeat PE, they want a ECW Tag Team Title shot.

-Promos from ECW Heavyweight Champion "The Franchise" Shane Douglas & Cactus Jack, in the back, cut a promo on their feud with Terry Funk. Woman, Funk & The Sandman cut promos on their feud with Douglas & Cactus.

ECW Hardcore TV Episode #328

August 7th 1999

From The ECW Arena in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania


Highlights of Jerry Lynn pinning Jason following a Cradle Piledriver and then being attacked by The Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm).

Joey Styles is in the ring, with a LOUD crowd, welcoming the fans and hyping the ECW debut on TNN. He then introduces the NEW ECW World Tag Team Champions Balls Mahoney & Spike Dudley, who come to the ring and talk about their Open Challenge to any Tag Team in wrestling, as long as it’s an Extreme Death Match! Balls tells Paul E. to send out whoever has BALLS enough to face them, bringing out AXL ROTTEN (RIP). “Welcome back” chants for Axl, who does not take Balls up on his high five, before putting over the fans and then reminding Balls of the pact they had made; if they did not defeat The Dudley Boyz for the Tag Titles, they would kick the shit out of each other and he is here to fulfill that promise! Axl tells Spike and Joey to get out of the ring, but is asked who his partner will be for the Tag Title challenge, leading to Axl hyping him up and then introducing New Jack!

1)    ECW World Tag Team Championship Extreme Deathmatch: Balls Mahoney & Spike Dudley© vs Axl Rotten & New Jack
Winners and STILL Tag Team Champions: Balls & Spike after Spike used The Acid Drop to take Jack off the camera perch, through a Table, which Balls was placed on, driving all 3 men onto the stage! Axl and Balls fought back to the ring, where Axl drove Balls’ head into the ring post and then pulled a Table from under the ring. Axl slid the table in and set it up, as Balls bled all over the mat, he pulled Mahoney up, who kicked Axl low and then left the ring, pulling out a bottle of lighter fluid! Jack and Spike brawled down the aisle, as Balls rolled into the ring and doused the table with lighter fluid, before setting in ablaze and then driving Rotten through it with a Spinebuster, quickly covering for the 3! (Crazy bloody brawl! This was a crazy start to the show with Styles saying it was the most hardcore match he’s ever see in ECW!)
All 4 show respect, until Jack & Axl attacked their opponents, with Axl laying out Balls with a nasty chair shot to the head, as Jack dropped Spike with a Stun Gun. Axl left the ring and set up a table in the crowd, as Jack peppered Balls & Spike with kicks, before Axl pulled Spike from the ring and set him up on the table, as Jack went to the top, with a chair and used a crazy Diving Chair, into the crowd, to smash Spike through the table and leave the champion down!

Highlights of Justin Credible drilling D-Von Dudley with Singapore Cane shots, as Jerry Lynn slid into the ring to attack Credible, bringing out Lance Storm to attack and brawl with Lynn, until Bubba Ray Dudley came out and they all brawled.

Highlights of Jerry Lynn and Rob Van Dam putting on a beautiful counter sequence from a 6 Man Tag match involving Lynn & The Dudley Boyz vs RVD, Justin Credible & Uganda.

Highlights of Joel Gertner, who had taken off his neck brace after 2 years, getting laid out by a 3D from The Dudley Boyz, who stand over him with Sign Guy Dudley, ending their allegiance.

Highlights of Justin Credible blasting Bubba Ray Dudley with 3 consecutive Singapore Cane shots to the head and then covering for the 3 count.

Joey Styles hypes Thursday the 26th’s Queens event, where ECW World Champion Taz will defend against Tajiri!

2)    “The Japanese Buzzsaw” Tajiri w/Steve Corino & Jack Victory(wheelchair bound) vs Little Guido w/Big Sal E. & Tony DeVito
Tajiri’s face was still bandaged from Taz’s Barbed Wire Tazmission at Heatwave.
 Winner: Tajiri after taking advantage of Guido’s injured knee, dropkicking it out and then sending him into the ropes and kicking the knee cap. Tajiri went to Irish Whip Guido, but he could not stand on his left leg and continuously fell, so Tajiri slapped and kicked away at Guido, before pulling him into The Tree of Woe, dropkicking the knee, before using a Baseball Slide to kick Guido in the face and then lock him in a Texas Cloverleaf, forcing Guido to immediately Tap Out! (Fun match. Guido’s hyper aggression towards Tajiri’s injured face and trying to get him to quit was great! Tajiri is a weapon.)

Big Sal & DeVito stood watch over Guido, until DeVito blasted Sal with chair shots, but he no sold them and grabbed DeVito by the throat, only for Tajiri to kick out Sal’s leg! Corino gets on the mic and cuts a promo on Tommy Dreamer, talking about taking out Hardcore boys and instigating a fight with the injured Dreamer, who sat by Paul E. in the Eagle’s Nest, until Corino said enough and Dreamer & Francine made their way through the crowd and into the ring. Dreamer stands face to face with Corino, as he stands on the apron, with Victory & Tajiri standing by, Corino tells him to get in the ring so he can end his career. Dreamer says he may lose his career, but he’ll take one of those motherfuckers with him, punching them down and then putting Tajiri in a Tree of Woe, as Francine put a chair over his face and then crushed him with a Baseball Slide! Corino slid in the ring with a Japanese Flag, but Dreamer took it from him and smashed it across Victory’s broken leg. Dreamer pulled off Victory’s cast and locked in a Figure Four, as Corino positioned to break it up, but Francine blasted him with a Low Blow and locked in her own Figure Four! Tajiri rolled into the ring and looked at both Dreamer & Francine, before blowing the Poison Mist into Francine’s eyes and then crushing Dreamer with a head kick and then a Front Dropkick! DeVito pulled a table from under the ring and set up up in the ring, as Corino & Tajiri positioned, only for ECW World Champion Taz to make his way down, chasing off his foes, except for DeVito, who Dreamer held on to! Taz went face to face with DeVito, who caught Taz with a boot to the gut and pulled him in for a Piledriver, but Taz powered him up and sent him through the table with The Concrete Crash!
 Corino cuts a promo about Taz not being able to catch him, but Taz responds in kind and ends the show!

Highlights from last week’s episode where Steve Corino called out an injured Tommy Dreamer and the subsequent events. “Beat me if you can…. Survive, if I let you!”

Joey Styles is in the back, welcomes the fans and then hypes up the Steve Corino, Tajiri, Taz, Tommy Dreamer situation and introduces Jason vs Jazz from Heatwave, saying that the rematch will be next week!

From Heatwave 7/18/99) Jazz over “The Sexiest Man Alive” Jason with The Jazz Stinger (X-Factor) onto a chair.

Joey Styles shows a clip of Jason winning the ECW TV Title from Mikey Whipwreck 5 years ago. He then hypes the ECW debut on TNN!

1)    Chris Chetti & Nova vs Simon Diamond & Super Crazy
Highlights of Chetti & Nova vs Amish Roadkill & Danny Doring from Heatwave ’99, with Chetti showboating and arguing with Nova.
  Diamond gets in the ring and says that he needs a Tag partner, asking Tom Marquez, who is sitting at ringside for time keeper duties, to get in the ring, but stops him, “I didn’t say Simon says!” He then asks for anyone from the back, bringing Crazy out, who does not comprehend Diamond nor his foolish rules and the match is underway.
  Winners: Nova & Chetti after Crazy caught Nova with a beautiful Springboard Spinning Leg Lariat and covered, only for Diamond to break it up and yell at Crazy for not following his rules, slapping Crazy across the face, which leads to Crazy slapping him back and then using a Fireman’s Slam to set up 2 of the Three Moonsauts, cut off by The Tidal Wave (Flying Splash/Guillotine Leg Drop) combo from Nova & Chetti, who then cover for the 3.

Highlights of Uganda pinning Spanish Angel with a Flying Splash from the top! Joey Styles then introduces a hype package for the African Giant.

Joey Styles is in the back, talking about ECW’s upcoming debut on TNN, before talking about The Dudley Boyz getting an offer from WWE and taking it. He then shows Fan Cam footage from last night’s event in Cleveland, Ohio! The Dudlez knocked off ECW World Tag Team Champions Balls Mahoney & Spike Dudley, following a crazy brawl, when they planted Spike with The 3D!
 Styles shows a package of the teams that were defeated and broken up by the 7 time ECW World Tag Champions The Dudleyz, saying they are worried they will hand over the Tag Titles to Vince McMahon. He then throws it to a pre-recorded promo from The Dudleyz, with Sign Guy Dudley.

Cyrus, Jason, Dawn Marie & The Impact Players (Justin Credible & Lance Storm) are in the back for a pre-recorded promo, with Cyrus talking about the network and then Credible talking about The Players being the most wanted team in ECW. Storm cuts a promo on taking over ECW. Styles comments on their prowess as a team and as single competitors.

1)    “Steve Corino’s Rookie Monster” Rhino vs Tom Marquez
Winner: Rhino following a vicious Hanging Sit Out Piledriver!

Jason walks up to Rhino, who just came through the curtain, amazed at his work, just as Steve Corino & Jack Victory show up to celebrate. Corino & Jason get on the same page when it comes to a course of action, Jason talks about facing Jazz tonight and needing some help, to which they laugh. Jason gives Corino a stack of cash and Corino says they will take her out.

ECW World Television Champion Rob Van Dam & Bill Alfonso are in the back, for a promo on RVD smoking the competition and being the longest reigning champion in wrestling. Highlight package for RVD is shown.

2)    Steve Corino w/Rhino & Jack Victory vs “The Supreme Female Fighting Machine” Jazz
Corino tried to walk away from the match, only for Tommy Dreamer & Francine to emerge from the entrance and back him into the ring.
 Winner: Jazz after Francine helped fight back Victory, leading to Jazz using The Bronco Buster on Corino, as Francine used her own on Victory, this lead to both me staggering out and then ducking attacks, embracing in safety, only for Jazz to plant Corino with The Jazz Stinger and Francine to plant Victory with a DDT, leading to a double cover as Dreamer and Referee Jim Molita counted the 3.
As Jazz, Francine & Dreamer celebrated, Tajiri ran into the ring and dropped Dreamer with a kick, before spitting the Red Mist in Francine’s eyes and then destroying Dreamer. All 3 stood over Dreamer, until ECW World Champion Taz made his entrance and we go off air!

Footage of the finish between Jazz and Steve Corino is shown to open the show!
 We see the open of the show and then ECW World Champion Taz makes his way down to break up the attack on Tommy Dreamer, chasing off Corino, Jack Victory & Tajiri, before fighting off Rhino and putting him through a table, slanted in the corner, with The Tazplex! Taz cuts a promo on facing Tajiri for the World Title and then staring down Dreamer.

Joey Styles, in the back, welcomes the fans and hypes the situation between Taz and “Steve Corino’s Rookie Monster” Rhino, showing footage of Rhino’s squash victory over Tom Marquez from last week!

Danny Doring, Roadkill & Miss Congeniality are in the back, with Doring putting over and introducing Congeniality. They tease tension between Congeniality and Roadkill, with Doring backing up Roadkill!

Joey Styles hypes the young talent in ECW getting a chance to shine on syndicated, and now, national TV. He then talks about Tommy Dreamer only being 28 years old, but his career being in jeopardy due to injuries. He then throws it to a pre-recorded promo from Steve Corino, with Jack Victory & Rhino.

1)    Yoshihiro Tajiri vs Super Crazy
Winner: Tajiri after Crazy chased Corino from the ringside area, only for Victory to grab Crazy from behind and Corino went for a punch, but Crazy moved and Jack got knocked down. Crazy then dropped Corino and made his way back into the ring, sending Tajiri into the corner and charging in, only for Tajiri to spit The Poison Mist into Crazy’s eyes, dropping him to his knees, where Tajiri scored with a Front Dropkick and quickly followed with a Sheer Drop Brainbuster and the pin

ECW World Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) make their way to the ring, talking about doing it for Vince McMahon. Joey Styles, standing in the back, addresses their champions coming to the ring and then talks about the ECW schedule for the next few months.

2)    ECW World Tag Team Championship Extreme Deathmatch: The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von)© vs Balls Mahoney & “The Giant Killer” Spike Dudley


Winners and NEW ECW World Tag Champions: Balls & Spike after Bubba went to the apron, talking to Sign Guy, as Spike climbed to the top, Bubba saw Spike and started brawling with him, landing a punch that rocked him enough so that Bubba could call for the sign from Sign Guy. He threw the weapon to Bubba, only for Spike to intercept above Bubba and blast him over the head, rocking Bubba to the far side of the apron, as Spike got down, fired up and charged, only for Bubba to get a boot up, dropping Spike! Bubba and D-Von received bottles of lighter fluid and started dousing the 2 stacked tables in the fluid, before Bubba pulled Spike in for a Powerbomb and D-Von & Sign Guy lit the tables on fire, Bubba then sent Spike through both tables with an INCREDIBLE Powerbomb! After some chaotic moments, Balls and D-Von found their way into the ring, where D-Von scored with 2 vicious chair shots, which Balls fought on his feet, until Bubba, who was on the apron, pulled Mahoney to him and held, as D-Von swung the chair, only for Balls to drop and Bubba to be blasted off the apron! Balls followed with The Nutcracker Suite on D-Von and held on for the 3 count! (Insane fire spot! Another memorable brawl from these 4. The Dudleyz were absolutely on top of their game and did everything, small to big, to make sure their matches meant something!)

Joey Styles is in the middle of the ring, in front of a loud crowd, which he welcomes and then hypes Anarchy Rulz, the PPV coming up in 2 weeks, before bringing out ECW World Champion Taz! They talk about FMW announcing that they would be sending Masato Tanaka to Anarchy Rulz to take on Taz for the World Title, Taz cuts a promo on being in ECW for 6 years and looking forward to facing Tanaka, saying he won’t go bitching to Paul E. Taz mocks WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan and then calls out WWE Champion Triple H. He gets heated with a fan towards the end and then drops his catchphrase.

1)    Uganda vs Tom Marquez
Winner: Uganda after crushing Marquez with an Avalanche in the corner, followed by a BIG Leg Drop and then a Rolling Senton, before covering for the 3.
Uganda went to the top and SQUISHED Marquez with a Flying Splash.

2)   Three Way Elimination match: Balls Mahoney vs Axl Rotten vs New Jack
As Balls and Axl kicked the crap out of each other and then went face to face, with chairs, in the ring. New Jack’s music hit and he came to the ring with a garbage can full of weapons. He stares down both men and then goes after Balls, leading to Axl going after him and the fight is on.
 Order of Eliminations: 1) Balls eliminated Jack with The Nutcracker Suite (just as we came back from commercial.) 2) Rotten eliminated Balls after smashing him with 4, unprotected, gnarly chair shots over the head and covering, but Balls kicked out, so Axl put the garbage can over his head and swung for the fences, knocking Bals out and allowing Rotten to pin.

Steve Corino and Yoshihiro Tajiri are in the ring, with Corino cutting a promo on Tajiri, calling him a disappointment, to which Tajiri does not understand and claps along as Corino cuts him down. Corino tells Tajiri that he hates him and slaps him across the face, getting Tajiri fired up and bringing Super Crazy down to join Tajiri, as Rhino & Jack Victory got in the ring on Corino’s side. They had a stand-off, until Tajiri dropped Crazy with a Roudhouse Kick to the back of the head and then Corino says that the best wrestlers come from Japan, while the worst come from Mexico and they cover him in a Japanese flag before walking out together. Crazy came to and quickly went to the top turnbuckle, before flying out and onto the pile, starting the match.

3)   Yoshihiro Tajiri w/Steve Corino, Jack Victory & Rhino vs Super Crazy
Winner: Crazy after Tajiri nailed him with a Front Basement Dropkick and covered, but Crazy kicked out, so Tajiri pulled him up and hooked for the Brainbuster, which Crazy escaped and nailed Tajiri with a chop, before snapping off a Spinning Powerbomb and folding Tajiri over for the 3 count!

A vignette to hype Tommy Dreamer & Raven’s first ECW World Tag Team Championship defense is shown to start the show.

“Dastardly” Danny Doring, Roadkill & Miss Congeniality come to the ring and Doring cuts a promo on their feud against Nova & Chris Chetti. He says if they cannot beat their foes tonight, not only will Doring shave his head, but he will split his team up!

1)    6 Person Tag match: “Dastardly” Danny Doring & “The Angry Amish Chicken Plucker” Roadkill & Miss Congeniality vs Nova, Chris Chetti & Jazz
Congeniality became involved in the match, which brought out Jazz to even the sides and make the match a 6 Person Tag!
 Winners: Congeniality. Roadkill & Doring after Jazz escaped over Doring and planted him with The Jazz Stinger, immediately falling into the cover, but the Referee was out of the ring, which allowed Roadkill to use a Springboard Guillotine Leg Drop to the back of Jazz’s neck. Congeniality got into the ring and covered Jazz, as the Ref slid in and counted the 3.

ECW World Tag Team Champion Tommy Dreamer & Francine come to the ring and Dreamer cuts a promo on TNN not wanting to do a TV Taping in Philadelphia, going as far to say that “the office” said New York fans were better! “Fuck New York” chants break out, Dreamer says he was born in NY and lives in NY, but made is career in Philadelphia and says they should have a TV Taping at the ECW Fucking ARENA! Dreamer says this is not a retirement angle and talks about making his mind up, only for Steve Corino & Rhyno to come out and interrupt.
 Corino cuts a promo on Dreamer risking his life by attempting to defend his half of the ECW Word Tag Team Titles, but gives him and option of laying down for Corino to take his Title and allow Dreamer to go off and rehab his injuries. Dreamer starts to answer, only for Corino & Rhyno to attack, followed by Corino laying out Francine with a Lariat and then Jack Victory got into the ring and, with Rhyno, held Dreamer, as Corino blasted him with a Garbage Can shot over the head! Corino then retrieved a strand of Barbed Wire and wrapped it around Dreamer’s mid-section, before setting up for an exposed chair shot to Dreamer’s injured back, just as Raven slid in the ring.

2)    ECW World Tag Team Championship match: “The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer & Raven© w/Francine vs “Steve Corino’s Rookie Monster” Rhyno & Jack Victory w/Steve Corino

Winners and STILL ECW World Tag Champions: Dreamer & Raven after Corino bailed out of the ring, as Raven planted Rhyno with a DDT and Dreamer planted Victory with his own DDT, following with a double pin!
